Autumnal weddings are some of my favourite to photograph

A beautiful autumn wedding at Homme House, with a church ceremony in Much Marcle, drinks in the gardens and sparklers to finish the evening.

We are absolutely over the moon with our wedding photos from Colin! From start to finish, he was an absolute dream to work with. His documentary style was exactly what we hoped for—natural, unobtrusive, and full of genuine emotion. Looking through our album feels like reliving the day moment by moment.

Colin has a remarkable eye for detail and he captured all the little things and special moments. He produced such a variety of shots and he made us feel completely at ease.

We can’t count how many times we’ve looked through our album already, and each time we find another stunning shot to fall in love with. Colin exceeded every expectation and gave us a gift we’ll treasure forever.

If you’re looking for someone who is talented, relaxed, and able to capture your wedding exactly as it felt, Colin is the one. We couldn’t be happier!

-Matt & Bella

Matt and Bella had a beautiful autumn wedding at Homme House in Much Marcle, with their ceremony just up the road at St Bartholomew’s Church. The morning started at Homme, with Bella and her bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal suite while Matt and the groomsmen met in the library before heading to the church.

After the ceremony, everyone stayed at St Bartholomew’s for coffee and cake while we took a few family photographs outside. Matt and Bella then headed back to Homme a little ahead of their guests, giving us a few quiet minutes for photographs around the orchard and grounds before the drinks reception began.

Later in the afternoon everyone gathered inside Homme for the cake cutting and a speech from Bella’s brothers, before heading through the front door for confetti. While the guests made their way to the marquee, we grabbed another few minutes for photographs before Matt and Bella joined everyone for the wedding breakfast.

The evening brought speeches, the first dance and live music from Festival Heart, before everyone headed outside for sparklers. A brilliant autumn wedding that made the most of both St Bartholomew’s Church and Homme House, and a lovely day to photograph from beginning to end.

The wedding was photographed on my usual gear <
