What's in my Kit Bag? / The Fuji X-H2 is Here!

My Fuji X Series gear line up: Two XH2’s | 18mm 1.4 | 33mm 1.4 | 56mm 1.2 | 50-140mm 2.8 | Godox V1 Flash | Batteries

I've upgraded my kit bag!

As the year is coming to an end I’ve made the plunge and upgraded my kit.

With a few more weddings to shoot, but much more time in between I find the off-season to be a much better time to change gear. This allows me time to learn the new kit and how I work with it, whilst not being overwhelmed with work, I’ll also be using my old kit as a backup just incase I need it.

This will be my gear lineup for 99% of my work moving forward.

I hesitated to upgrade from the X-H1 but the features were just too much not to jump straight on.

For photography having 40mp up from 24mp means, I can crop deeper into my images, it can also shoot faster and focus faster than the X-H1

For video it goes from a 20-minute record limit to 160, this means I can get rid of my external recorder and just rock these on their own for long recordings. It's also got 8k shooting, a dedicated video record button next to the shutter button, and full-size HDMI + audio in and out if I ever need it.

I'll be writing up full reviews of all my gear over the winter and hopefully doing some videos too, if you'd like to see anything, or if you've got a question then do let me know!
