Sam & Scott / Dewsall Court Wedding Photography, Herefordshire
I always love shooting at Dewsall, such a stunning venue and always really well orchestrated by their wedding planners. Sam and Scott got married towards the end of summer, and the sun came out for their al-fresco wedding in the front lawn.
2018 End of Year Review
As is usual I do a review at the end of each year, this is a brief overview of my professional and personal photography work and a bit about what I did in the previous year.
I enjoy this exercise quite a bit, and it allows me to reflect on the year, and it’s nice to go back through the previous years and see what I’ve achieved.
I don’t tend to set myself goals for each year, but instead a general sense of improving skill wise and moving forward.

I don’t think I’ve ever shot a wedding for someone who had quite such an infectious smile as Jen when she married Ed in the summer.
Fujifilm, Fuji X-H1 - Review (updated)
The Fuji X-H1 is a stills and video workhorse in the Fuji lineup. Featuring a reinforced metal body, in body image stabilisation (IBIS) and a top plate LCD screen, this camera is currently everything I need in a professional setup.
Long gone are the days of ultra retro styling and although you get a couple of dials on the top this camera has a much more ‘DSLR’ look than anything else Fuji has put out in recent years, this ain’t a bad thing however as function trumps form when you are using these things constantly.
DJI Mavic Air Review
This review of the DJI Mavic Air is also my first experience with a drone, I've never flown one before so this is all from zero experience, to learning the controls to hopefully starting to master them.
