π· Edward & Lil / Lake District Wedding Photography

More micro weddings!
Edward & Lil opted to have a micro wedding with just 16 people.
βLil and I could not be happier with the photogrpahs you took for us, everyone has mentioned how relaxed we both looked and all the guests.
I've said many times that considering you we're the 17th guest you blended in so well, at larger weddings I imagine that's easier, so its quite the skill on your part.
Thank you we will cherish them.-Edward & Lil
I met Edward several years ago while working for Ernest Journal, documenting his days as a Journeyman (travelling carpenter) - fast forward 9 years and he asked me to come up to the Lake District to photograph his wedding.
The couple opted for a very small wedding of juts 16 people, Iβm seeing these smaller wedding become much more common in recent years. My day started at the Church where I met up with Edward and his groomsmen.
After a lovely ceremony we headed outside for a few formal shots as well as some shots of the couple and their dog, before heading onto the reception venue.
At the reception there were drinks, canapes and a meal. This was then followed by speeches to round off the day and my work was done.
Itβs really nice doing these smaller weddings, and I was so glad I got to photograph this wedding.
The wedding was shot on my usual gear <
