Louise & Mark / A Hereford Wedding at Pengethly Manor

I do love it when stuff just comes together and looks like this.

So going back a few months I headed into Hereford to get cracking for a great wedding, we started the day at the hair salon and quickly moved onto the prep.

For this wedding I shot with the samyang 12mm much more than I normally do, I'm drifting to shooting in a much wider style to capture the sense, this was especially useful during the prep at Pengethly Manor when we were in a very small room. The prep was a bit ofa crazy busy rush, which to be fair can make things just as exciting as a long chilled morning.

Then we all headed over to the church for a nice small service in a fantastically bright day, after the service there was the usual confetti and a few formals before heading back up to Pengthly for the reception.

The day wound up with loads food, drinks, dancing and some crazy energetic kids who were giving me a run for my money with thier disposable cameras, overall a very fun day to shoot with a great sunset ending.

Gear wise it's mostly the 122356 combo on my X-E2's and X-M1 I also took full advantage of using ND filters to let me shoot wide open in the bright sun, something the XE series does not have is the electronic shutter, which while it would be nice the whole rolling shutter effect can for me ruin shots and I prefer to quickly pop on an ND.

Thsts all for now, enjoy the photos and feel free to comment below!
