Full sun and drinks outside in February!

Take a look at this gorgeous wedding in a picturesque castle, basked in warm February sunshine!

I had the pleasure of filming my first wedding of 2023 back in February, which happened to be a re-booking from a canceled COVID wedding in 2020.

The couple had made three attempts to set a date, but fortunately, the day finally arrived, and we were blessed with uncharacteristically warm and sunny weather for a February day.

My day began with packing my gear into the car, which was already sorted out the night before. After a light breakfast, I hit the road to Clearwell Castle, blasting my motivational playlist, featuring speed metal tracks from Dragonforce.

Upon arrival, I started with capturing the bridal prep as Rebecca and her bridesmaids got ready for the day. I then headed up to the castle itself to cover the groom prep and finishing touches for the bride before a reveal to her bridesmaids and father.

The ceremony took place in the stunning hall at the castle, which was bathed in natural light, making it a joy to work in. Following the ceremony, we headed outside for confetti, group shots, and drinks on the patio, basking in the glorious sunshine. It was a pleasant surprise to spend time outside at this wedding.

Afterward, we returned inside for food, drinks, and speeches before descending downstairs to the party room for a night of dancing, drinking, and an unforgettable first dance to "Forever" by Chris Brown, reminiscent of Jim & Pam's wedding from The Office, a show I'm a big fan of!

Overall, this was a fantastic wedding and an excellent start to the year.

Once I got home, I backed up over 6000 images and began charging and sorting my gear for the next wedding, which was in just two days.
