πŸŽ₯ Kezia + James - Bath Assembly Rooms Wedding Videography

Safe to say this was an epic wedding!

β€œOh my gosh, thank you so much!! The wedding video is amazing, and made us cry!”

- Kezia + James

I came by these guys via my good friend Che Birch Hayes, who was the photographer for the day. We drove down to Bath together from Hereford and started our day at the Hotel where the bridal party was getting ready.

The morning was very chilled out, and soon it was time for the short walk to the wedding venue where there was the most incredible room for a ceremony after which the bride and groom were showered with confetti. Family photos were next on the agenda and then a few couples photos. When I’m shooting videos I always let the photographer (in this case Che) take the lead and just shoot around them.

The evening was a great party and the venue was a really nice one to shoot in, with loads of space and actually quite decent light which is always good.

All of this was shot on my Fuji XH1 + 56mm 1.2 lens (I've now moved to the 33mmm being my go-to lens, more on that in another blog post) Keeping a nice simple kit means I can focus on getting moments and I don’t have to carry around a ton of gear. All sound was recorded on the epic Sony TX650 (seriously check these out, they are night and day better than wiring people up with Lav mics)

Fire away with questions below, but it’s always easier to catch me on Instagram.

Cheers,
Col-
