Left Bank Wedding Photographer - Cait'lin + Mike

That first look feeling.

That first look feeling.

It was Castle house hotel to start the day, getting ready with paintings of King Charles II looking down on the room while bridesmaids prepared lunch on the marital bed.

One prepared bridesmaid takes out a table cloth and arranged a feast to fuel everyone for the day, in the corner hair and makeup is taken care of by the talents that are Rebel Rock, while I sit and drink a coffee.

I often take it slow on a wedding morning, favouring a slow coffee and a chat over taking masses of photos before the preparation really gets underway.

Soon the bride is in her dress and everyone is looking great, ready to go.

I headed to the ceremony, a short walk to the Left Bank, talked with the coordinator and met up with the groom, it’s nice to have plenty of time on a wedding day, time to get photos of guests arriving and those first meetings of the wedding party.

After the ceremony came an irregular stairs/confetti run where I was mostly happy I didn’t trip, soon at the top of the left bank it was time for drinks and a few family photos.

The bride, groom and myself took a walk while the guests made their way inside for food, after being welcomed I headed off to a side room to get a little rest, check my gear and eat some food.

Soon after this came speeches, more drinks and wedding talk then dancing.

My night ended and I took the very short walk up the road to my flat, backed up the photos and called it a day.

This wedding was shot with my usual gear <

Massive thanks to these guys for not only having me there on the day but also to throwing a wonderful wedding to get stuck into!
