Jessi + Jez - Malvern Wedding Photography

Jessi and Jez chose to have a small registry office wedding ceremony in Malvern ahead of their main wedding in February, this was an incredibly intimate wedding with 12 people including myself and their videographer.

The day started with a crisp morning in the Hereford countryside for the getting ready, Rebel Rock took care of the hair and makeup while I did my thing, Alice from gingeralice.com was shooting video.

We then headed over to Worcester, the bride and her father in a stunning white ford escort (awesome wedding car) I met up with Jez and both sides of the family here and the ceremony began.

We got super lucky with the weather as a few days before the wedding there was torrential rain and flooding, but the sun came out which lit up the trees of the local park in an array of golden colours!

The it was into the park for a few portraits and formal shots, something that I’m doing a little more of recently, still with a relaxed and no-pressure approach but I’m building more of these kind of shots into my working day.

After this everyone headed over to the Olive Tree in Ledbury for a meal and a few speeches which brought about the end of the day for me, I headed home and backed up my images, poured myself a glass of wine and got to work on the edit.

This wedding was shot on my usual gear,

Cheers,
Col-

HELP JEZ FIGHT CANCER

Jessi and Jez are currently fundraising to help Jez fight cancer. In October 2016, Jez was diagnosed with an extremely rare soft tissue cancer called a Synovial Sarcoma, following treatment they were told he was cancer free, however in 2019 they were told the cancer had returned to his lung, spine, sternum and shoulder.

Jez’s cancer is incurable, and any prolonging treatment will be to administered when the legions get to a certain size, in the meantime however Jessi and Jez aren’t going to sit by and let this happen, they are currently fundraising to look into different treatments that aren’t available on the NHS;
