The Photography Show 2016

Just a quick post today after Sundays visit to the photography show. All in all it was a good show, lots of great gear to play with and good talks by some top photographers, here's a quick rundown of the Fuji kit I got to play with (kit I haven't tried yet) and my initial thoughts;

Xpro2 - Has a very nice feel, the shutter is really satisfying to press, auto focus seems snappy, nice button features, dual cards and all that, I may get one in year or two but overall nothing to make me rush out and upgrade my kit.

16mm F1.4 - Very nice lens hand probably next on my list to buy, surprisingly nice bokeh for such a wide lens.

100-400mm - Impressive. Nice long range especially with the 1.4 converter, focus is a little slow but image quaily is great.

X70 - Nice, small very portable, shame there is no viewfinder but this would make a great light travel/walkabout camera.

XE2s - It's an XE2.

I also took a nice long look at the leica stand which was a dream to use, far to much money for my taste, but just a real pleasure to use. I took in a great wedding talk by Kevin Mullins and some awesome street photography tips from Matt Hart, met the guys from Mirrorlessons and took a quick portrait of Kai from DigitalRev. For me I'll spend more days next year and see a few more talks and maybe get a ticket for the Comic Con next door also (that should explain the cosplay shots)

Took these with the XE2+23mm, enjoy :)
