Waterfalls with the Fuji XM1 + Samyang 12mm Lens

So the other month I went for a short hike in the Brecon Beacons with my good friend, I decided to focus on some waterfall photography and took a small bag of kit featuring the Fuji XM1, Samyang 12mm a 10 Stop ND and the Manfrotto Pixi Tripod, all in in nice and small and great for wandering.

This section of the Beacons has many waterfalls up the path so is a great spot for doing some long exposure stuff which I haven't done in ages, I opted for the Pixi tripod as it's very small, light and means you can get super close to the ground, which is where the flip screen of the XM1 came in handy.

All the images here are shot in RAW then given a fair amount of post processing to clean them up, there is a fair amount of vignetting on the originals and as it was a very sunny day some very dark shadows which needed brighting up.

I'll leave it there for now and show some shots form the trip, as always feel free to comment below and get in touch if you have any questions.

Cheers, Col-
