Wow, what a wedding.

Jen & Dan are one awesome couple who decided to have their French/English wedding at the stunning Dewsall Court in Herefordshire, and I can safely say this is one of my favourite Hereford wedding venues to date.

The day started with the usual bridal prep and shots of guests arriving, the whole day was based on the grounds of Dewsall Court with a blessing in the nearby church and the reception in the barn, yea this venue kind of has it all.

I was great to see a mix of cultures coming together as well as seeing so many genuinely happy people, made all the more happy by a cold overcast morning turning into a great sunny day with drinks on the lawn and guests wandering the grounds.

The blessing at the Church was a fantastic intimate ceremony complete with loads of hugs, triple cheek kisses and a line of guests down the path to throw confetti, the wedding then moved back up to the house for canapés and drinks.

I used the Fuji X100 much more than I usually do for this wedding, I'm now liking more the fact I need to get closer and extreme subtlety which this camera brings, as well as the fact that everyone thinks I'm shooting film! For this wedding I used:

X100, XE1, XE2, 18mm, 35mm & 60mm lenses.

The day culminated with awesome food, very touching speeches and many incredible dance moves, got to day this whole day was a real pleasure to photograph.

To Jen and Dan, all the best in the years to come for you both and your family, which I'm sure will grow, thanks for including me on your special day.

If you are planning a Dewsall Court wedding then do get in touch.

Thanks for stopping by,

Cheers - Col
