Snowdonia Mushrooms / More Editorial Work With the Fuji XE-2

I was recently once again contact by Ernest Journal to come along on a press trip to photograph a man who grows mushrooms in shipping containers, my interest piqued and before I knew it i was on my way to the heart of snowdonia.

The subject of this press trip was Snowdonia Mushrooms, which is a very innovative business that involves temperature controlled containers and 'stressing out' mushrooms to make them bloom into Shitake goodness. The product is then processed into many products and sold all over the world.

After a cup of coffee and a riveting conversation about mushrooms and how they can save the world we got to shooting, this was in essence a very similar shoot to the Wild Beer Co. trip from relier on in the year.

I shot this all with the Fuji X-E2 and mostly the 35mm lens, this is one aspect of my job I can never get over, going to random places to meet awesome people, doing incredible things, I am truly lucky and massive thanks go out to Ernest Journal for putting these opportunities on the table.

Make sure you head over the the Ernest website to get a hold of the article as well as find out about other fascinating people and subjects, for now here are a few images from the trip.

Cheers, Col-
